  • The tanks are custom designed according to the size and weight requirements.
  • The sheets are “FOLD” bend, thus giving high durability to tanks
  • The Main body and End Wall are “Butt Fusion Welded” that increases the strength of the weld seams. Corrotech is the only company in the world to apply this welding technique.
  • The tanks are designed using RITA 2.5 software (Rochling Integrated German Tank Building Assistance).
  • The tanks are tested on various industry limits in complete compliance with the universally accepted standards.
  • Adherence to stringent quality standards DVS 2207 laid by German Welding Society for thermoplastic tanks.

Quality Checks
  • Welding Quality is confirmed by 3 point bend test; specimen seam is tensile and impact resistance property.
  • Leakage testing is carried out prior to despatch by hydro, vacuum and spark test.
  • Test carried out as per DVS 2207 guidelines of German Welding Society.

Polypropylene Tanks

    • PP (Polypropylene) Tanks
      Polypropylene is a type of thermoplastic polymer resin that has a chemical designation as C3H6. The benefits of using this type of plastic are that it can be useful in numerous applications including as a structural plastic or as a fiber-type plastic. Corrotech manufactures tanks using Homopolymer (HP) grade and Copolymer (CP) grade as per the needs of the customer. Corrotech procures polypropylene sheets from Roechling, Germany and Reliance, India

      Benefits of Polypropylene Tanks
      • Polypropylene provides superior qualities and is the most versatile and cost-effective plastic in comparison to other thermoforming and polyolefin materials.
      • It has good impact strength, surface hardness, dimensional stability and excellent abrasion resistance. Polypropylene is resistant to a wide variety of acids, alkalis and solvent solutions with a temperature range up to 200ºF.
      • The most commonly used colors include natural, black and grey. The black and grey pigments have better UV qualities and an extra UV package is added for outdoor use.
      • Polypropylene is also available in a flame retardant grade.
      • It is USDA approved and meets FDA requirements for food contact.

    High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum. A versatile tank construction material high density polyethylene (HDPE) comes in various grades. HDPE resins are characterized by greater toughness, stronger mechanical properties, and higher service temperatures.

    PVC is a thermoplastic made of 57% chlorine and 43% carbon. The chlorine gives to PVC excellent fire resistance. PVC is clear, colored, rigid or flexible, depending on the added compounds and last application that needs to be achieved. PVC is strong, lightweight, durable and versatile.
